Kern County vocalists are gearing up for a promising 2010 Karaoke Showdown. So far, nine (9) locations are participating in the “Road to the Fair 2010″ competition, which will award over $40,000 in cash and prizes. Every participating location has a weekly competition to name a top male and female for their Semi-Finals in August. These semifinalists will battle it out to determine who will move on to the Finals at Kern County Fair September 27th. In the end, 20 people (or more, depending on the addition of new locations) will take the Frontier Stage to vie for the titles of Male and Female Vocalist of the Year.
