Didn't expect the rain, din't expect the snow. Woke up to a very bright room from all the reflected light and was greeted by a 4" blanket of fluffy white powder and a transfigured panorama of our mountain. This is the view from the front porch deck in Pinion Pines looking North across the Cuddy Valley on Frazier Mountain.
Beautiful isn't it?
Another reality also sets in - the back, arms and shoulders will be feeling it tonight from all the clearing of that beautiful powder off the driveway. The plus is that the calories from the Thanksgiving meal will be worked off doing the clearing.....well maybe some of 'em anyways.
