Clouds spell an ominous sign of a thunderstorm approaching Audubon's Kern River Preserve in Weldon, California. Within 10 minutes .22 inches of rain had fallen; a welcome respite on 3 years of drought parched soil. Flash floods unfortunately may follow.

Ya we got some rain, but I've seen alot of lighting hit the ground hopefully we do not have any lighting related fires in are area !!!!
