In most cases having a child at such a young age is a tragedy. I choose to think of it as a blessing. Children are just that, a blessing. She has been such a wonderful part of my life and I wanted to share that with everyone.
My name is Patricia and I am the mother of a wonderful young woman named Amanda. She and I have had an amazing relationship over the years. I am so proud to be the mother and friend to such a funny, smart, and brave young woman. She has made me proud in so many ways. The thing I am most proud of Amanda is that she at age 21 chose to place her own life on hold to adopt a infant that needed a mother. My first reaction to this was "no way" but she reminded me that "Sometimes you have to give up some of your life to make someone else's better." I would be honored to be the Spittin Image of Amanda!
