like mother, like daughter

When i was growing up everyone would always tell me i looked just like my mother, which i denied profusely of course, at which point my mom would tell me the same story over and over. It was the same story she was told as a girl... It was the story of a woman in her later years, who upon getting dressed one day was shocked at the sight of her mothers arm appearing out of the sleeve. She had become her mother. " Your gonna see it one day, your just like me! Remember-mother's arm" she would say. And sure enough that day has come. I'm just like my mom only now i realize that's not such a bad thing after all ;)
