While driving along Highway 58 East of Murray Farms, we spotted these lovely poppies and lupines reaching for the sun.

If our current weather continues we expect to see fields and mountains covered in these lovely wildflowers.

Spring is near.

Are the mountains on the Grapevine solid colors now-yellows, orange, blue? Is this a special year? It is here in the Napa Valley, and late rains must have made the difference. Your thoughts?
