Snow is great if you don't have to get out and drive in it much. Otherwise it can be treacherous and unpredictable. Whenever I can, I stay home when it snows. When I can't, I make sure I use the 4X4 and drive slow. This is the best year of snowfall we have had in the Tehachapi Mountains for many years. My husband Ike has lived here for 64 years and has seen the weather change drastically in the past 10 years. This snowfall is like some that were a normal occurance when he was a young man.
