Monday morning in Bear Valley Springs on December 15, 2008 has us wake to a winter storm with snow acumulation from 4 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow limiting travel to 4 wheel drive and chains and closing some roads, schools in the area were close due to the weather. Temperatures warmed up enough to allow norman travel in the afternoon, then the snow picked up in the evening once again limiting travel to 4 wheel drive and chains once again and throu the night dropping an additional 4 inches by Tuesday morning and closing area schools again for the day.
