Help-U-Sell Green Valley Realty is holding a food drive for the bakersfield rescue mission for thanksgiving. We are accepting any kind of parishable and non-parishable foods including frozen turkeys and hams etc. The rescue mission will pick up food on a daily basis. There is a tuff shed located right outside of our office and there you can place the food. Everyone who donates will recieve a raffle ticket and be eligable to win a prize at the end of the food drive. Please come together and help feed the less fortunate on this very special day.

The Rescue mission has inspired me to keep love going and giving. I am a graduate from 2006,and when i first got in to the home my life was so broken and filled with hate and hurt.But as days when on my heart started healing and i started loving.

I used to work for the Rescue Mission, and I think that regardless to what a homeless person can, or can't do. The mission is a great help to them. There ARE many who CAN help themselves up, and there are also MANY who can not.

I was homeless in San Diego during the holidays when i was young because i fell into financial troubles. I think that helping the homeless shelter is a waste of time. Speaking from experience Most of the people there CAN get themselves up.
