Jeannine English, President of AARP California, will be the Keynote Luncheon speaker at the first AARP Senior Awareness Day in Bakersfield. Jeannine will present information about Proposition 11, the redistricting reform measure on the November ballot, and explain why AARP supports the proposition and is advocating for passage.
In addition, local nonprofit organizations will provide information at vendor booths and during several workshops throughout the day. Workshops will be available on the following topics:

Lunch is included. There is no charge for the lunch but attendance is limited to 250.
