I am a 30 year old mother of a beautiful 7 year old boy diagnosed with Lupus SLE in December 1999. More recently I had a flar up and have now been diagnosed with Hemolysis on top of everything else. I just was admitted into the hospital for 6 days and had to receive a blood transfusion. My family has been there for me everyday through this ordeal, but I have never felt so alone, no one could begin to understand the things that are felt inside and the emotions that you go through. It has been tough and I have days that are better than others but I think it would help if there were others out there that also have Lupus that could relate to one another. I know i t has been awhile since anyone has posted but i was just wondering if anything has came about of this.Is there a Lupus support group in Bakersfield yet.?I am also a 30 yr old mother of 4 who could use a little outside support aswell.

hello i am over 60 and was diagnosed in december of 09 with lupas . i support you 100% in building a support group here in bakersfield for our comunity to come together and talk and learn what lupas is and how we can live and learn about lupas!!
