My name is Connie Jones and my husband and I have been residents of Tehachapi for 20 years. I was driving by the scene of the fire the afternoon of the train depot burning, and happened to catch Jose Gaspar interviewing the chief of firefighters. I wanted to capture some pictures so I could one day show my children this sad event. Truly, the residents here in Tehachapi are mourning this loss.

Dish Network dropped local CBS channels. It wasn't KBAK's fault. KBAK is just a portion of a large corporation that was dropped everywhere. Don't point blame at the station, they don't want to lose viewers anymore than you want to lose the channel.

What to do about early inmate discharge and layoffs at local jails. 1. Make minor parent pay child support while their child is incarcerated. 2. Budget Constraints - stop suppling ketchup, mayo, musterd and any other sauces. It's call jail time.
