Hello my name is Jodi Bowen, I am a coordinator for “Horizons Du Monde” a foreign exchange program from France. I have a group of students coming into Bakersfield in February for ten days and I am looking to place them with families that have children in the high school ages. This is a very rewarding program for all that are involved and most that take the opportunity to host an exchange student do it again and again. I too was a host parent prior to becoming a coordinator and will continue to be a host parent any chance I get. This group already has an itinerary set up for them; all the family needs to do is open their homes, heart and arms to the awesome experience.
I would love the opportunity to meet with you and show you more about the program and answer questions. I need to place the students and the escort couple by January 20th so a meeting to accommodate that deadline would be ideal.
