Vet Left Stranded

Im not sure if theres something that can be done or not. My Husband went on the DAV bus to west LA VA to see his doctor today. Afterwards he went to get his travel pay missing his bus by just a few minutes. One other man asked to be put up in a room and he got a room. Now my husband also a Viet Nam Vet told them he missd his bus, and could they please put him up in a room. They said NO. He let them know he has had 3 heart surgeries and without his meds to. (Sorry we can't help you, don't you have someone you can call?) . Im (his wife) here in Lake Isabella and he is in LA. I have no cash to get him and on pain killers. He don't have acess to his meds as they are here at home not expecting to spend the night sitting in his power chair. I can not believe how heartless they are about our Vets who have fought for our country. Let alone one who has had 3 heart surgeries in 2 years. At this time he has his cell phone sitting who knows where till tomarrow at 3 PM if there is an openning for the DAV bus to bring him back to Bakersfield where I will pick him up at 6:00 PM (Wed.). What is Richard to do ?
