Aug. 9th, 2010 Jupiter and it's moons in the eastern sky

Jupiter in the night sky

The kids and I went outside last evening to watch for meteors. We noticed a planet in the eastern sky. So I went and used my Google Skymap app to find out the Jupiter was in that direction. I grabbed my camera to se if I could get a pic. Left the lens open for a second and the moons showed up too.
