    Good Day Friends,

    Here is your eyewitness traffic report for the week of August 25, 2008. The Following is a quick look out our various Cal-Trans Projects Happening in metro Bakersfield and Kern County.

    ROUTE 5 AREA



    ROUTE 33 AREA

    ROUTE 46 AREA



    ROUTE 58 AREA

    East bound 58 passing over Oswell street there is continuing bridge construction causing a possible slow down. This work is scheduled to last at least until Friday August 29th.

    In Tehachapi at the highway 202 on/off ramp of Highway 58 expect periodic road closures due to construction.  This construction will last until the middle of September.

    ROUTE 99 AREA
     
    From White lane at the South Bound 99 freeway on ramp there is on going electrical work. The road way is open  however expect a possible slow down.  This work is scheduled to last until  Friday August 29th.

    ROUTE 119 AREA

    Expect a construction zone on Taft highway 119 at Ashe Road due to Telecommunications work. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday August 29th.

    ROUTE 166 AREA

    Expect possible delays on east and west bound highway 166 due to asphalt construction. This work is scheduled to last until Friday August 29th.

    ROUTE 178 AREA

    Highway 178 at FairFax Road expect for delays to the on-going construction. There is no accessibility to North bound Fairfax Road from East/West bound highway 178. The entire project is slated for completion in June of 2009.

    ROUTE 184 AREA

    East Brundage Lane at Weedpatch Highway expect possible delays due to construction. This Construction began on Monday August 25th and is scheduled to end Friday August 29th.

    Red bank road at State Road 184 expect delays due to construction. This construction began on Monday August 25th and is scheduled to end Friday August 29th.
     

    ROUTE 204 AREA
