Bakersfield Condors need to win to stay in Kelly Cup hunt

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Condors are facing elimination 3,300 miles from home in the ECHL Western Conference Finals.

The series resumes for Game 6 Tuesday in Alaska after Games 3, 4 and 5 at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield.

The Condors took a 2-1 series lead after a Friday night home win but dropped the next two games to the Alaska Aces.

The Bakersfield club beat Utah and Stockton to reach the Western Conference Finals. But, unless the Condors win the next two on hostile ice, their historic run at a Kelly Cup will end.
