BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Valley Championship trophies are headed to Stockdale High School and Garces High School.

The Stockdale boys' soccer team beat Centennial 1-0 in overtime to claim the Division I title.

Mark Jones scored a "golden goal" in sudden victory overtime to give the Mustangs the championship.

The Garces girls claimed the Division II championship with a 2-0 win over Redwood.

Sarah Reed scored a pair of goals in the first half and that was all the Rams needed for the win.

The Golden Valley boys lost a heart breaker to Dinuba in penalty kicks.

The game was scoreless after regulation and overtime, but Dinuba won the shootout 4-2.
