Condors blast Ontario 8-3

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Shawn Weller scored a pair of goals and Timo Pielmeier stopped 33 shots to lead the Bakersfield Condors to an easy 8-3 win over Ontario.
The Condors broke a 3-3 tie in the second period when John DeGray beat netminder Mike Zacharias with a strong slapshot. Bakersfield did not look back. The Condors erupted for 4 third-period goals and cruised to the victory. The Condors finished the game scoring on 5 of 11 powerplay opportunities. |
