BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Blaze completed a three game sweep of first place San Jose with a 2-1 win. Former Ridgeview High, Bakersfield College and Fresno State pitcher Justin Miller pitched one and a third innings to record his first save.

Joey Butler's run scoring single in the seventh proved to be the game winning hit, his second in two nights.

San Jose manager Andy Skeels, coach Gary Davenport and pinch runner Shane Jordan were all ejected in the ninth inning. With the win, the Blaze have now won eight straight home games.
