Giants capitalize on sloppy play by Blaze
By John Franchi, Eyewitness News
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Another night filled with errors leads to another loss for the Bakersfield Blaze.
The Blaze committed three errors in the field, and the Giants made Bakersfield pay for each mistake. With the Blaze up 2-0 in the fourth inning, an error at third base opened the door for a big San Jose rally. The Giants scored six times in the inning and did not look back. San Jose cruised to a 12-2 win. The Blaze committed 10 errors in the three-game series. |
