Police: Shoplifter threatened workers with gun
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Police are looking for a woman they say stole items from an East Hills Mall store.

The woman allegedly took clothing from Touchdown Sports on Tuesday but failed to remove all of the security sensors. The store's alarm system activated and employees confronted her, but the woman allegedly threatened them to "get back," because she had a gun, according to police.

Police didn't indicate whether the woman actually produced a gun.

The suspect was seen leaving with another woman in a Chevy S-10 pickup with gray primer on the passenger's side.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect Friday in an effort to identify and capture her. Anyone with information helpful to the investigation is asked to call police at (661) 327-7111.
