Man accused of identity theft in credit card case

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Authorities are looking for a man suspected of making purchases with an illegal credit card account.
The man is accused of committing identity theft after a victim discovered the suspect opened an account in the victim's name. The suspect went on to charge more than $10,000 on the card between Aug. 28 and Sept. 8, according to police. Surveillance photos were released Wednesday of the suspect using the illegal card to buy items at an Albertsons grocery store. Anyone with information on the suspect's identity or whereabouts is asked to call police at (661) 326-3504. |
