BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Authorities are looking for a man suspected of reaching into a parked vehicle and stealing a bag of money.

Police released surveillance images Wednesday in an effort to identify and locate the suspect. He's accused of stealing a bank bag that contained cash, checks and money orders.

The victim's vehicle was parked around noon Oct. 6 at a gas pump at a Fastrip Food Store on South H Street. The suspect got away in a black, late 1990s Dodge Ram truck, according to police.

Anyone with information on the man's identity or whereabouts is asked to call Detective Brian West at (661) 326-3553.
