Man tries to steal beer in baby stroller -- with baby on board

BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - Police say a man tried to steal beer from a Bremerton grocery store by putting it in a baby stroller - with a baby on board.
Police say the man rolled out the front door Saturday when he was stopped by a store manager who grabbed the stroller. The Kitsap Sun reports a tug-of-war ensued that turned the stroller on its side. The baby was not hurt and was taken by two other men who were apparently with the shoplifter and fled the scene. The manager wrestled the other men to the ground until police arrested him for investigation of robbery. |
