Blaze erupts on South Union Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — City firefighters fought a two-alarm blaze Wednesday at South Union Avenue and Fairview Road.

The flames started in the backyard of a house. Fire spread to brush and then to a vacant house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

There were no reported injuries.
