BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A new drive-through coffee shop typically isn't cause for concern, but one in the western part of the city has some residents uneasy at its promise to feature scantily clad female baristas.

The Bottom's Up Espresso stand at Stockdale and Allen has a "coming soon" sign. The Modesto-based coffee franchise has three locations in California, with a fourth one on its way to Bakersfield.

On the company's website, Bottom's Up is described as "specialty coffee and energy drinks, a combination of great customer service, great drinks and sexy women."

The new location is across the street from Bakersfield Christian High School. Some people Eyewitness News spoke to Monday at the Stockdale Highway shopping center said they are worried it's too close to the school.

The drink menu includes sexually suggestive titles, such as "Blonde Pornstar."

It's not clear when the location is opening. Calls to the company have not been returned.

The sign says Bottom's Up is accepting applications.
