Bakersfield police look for burglary, assault suspect
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Police are looking for a man suspected of breaking into a home and assaulting the resident with a pair of gardening shears.

The suspect knocked on the victim's door March 16. He then forced his way in through the back when no one answered the front door, police said.

A computer-generated composite was released Tuesday as police try to find the suspect. Anyone with information helpful to the investigation is asked to call Detective Bill Toler at (661) 326-3857.
