BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A man who police said was shot late Friday night at a home on Pacheco Road is expected to recover.
Officer were called to a report of gunshots being fired just before 11:30 p.m., according to a department news release. The shots were heard in the area of Monitor Street and Pacheco Road.
Investigators said they determined the man had been shot at a residence in the 900 block of Pacheco Road.
His injuries were said to not be life-threatening.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
