Police: Woman wanted for failed bank robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A woman is wanted by police after allegedly trying to rob a bank Thursday evening.
The woman is accused of handing a teller at Citizens Business Bank, 1301 17th St., a note demanding money.
The teller yelled, and the suspect ran off without money, police said.
A surveillance photo released by police shows the suspect, who was described as 5-foot-4 with a thin build.
Anyone who knows the name or location of the suspect is asked to call Detective William Toler at (661) 326-3857.
