Photos show alleged Oildale bank robber
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Surveillance photos released Wednesday show a man wanted for a bank robbery the previous afternoon at an Oildale bank.

The man seen in the photos allegedly robbed a Wells Fargo branch on North Chester Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities told Eyewitness News on Tuesday that the man handed the teller a note, demanding money and declaring he had a bomb. A Kern County Sheriff's Office news released Wednesday morning didn't reference a bomb threat.

Anyone who knows the suspect's name or location is asked to call the sheriff's office at (661) 861-3110. Anonymous tips can be registered by calling the Secret Witness hotline at 322-4040 or by sending a text message to TIP411 (847411), with the keyword "KCSO" prior to the message.
