Classes resume after Taft school shooting, more security on hand
Classes resume in Taft
Classes resume Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Taft Union High School in Taft, Calif., five days after 16-year-old student Bryan Oliver allegedly shot classmate Bowe Cleveland inside a science classroom. Oliver claimed bullying drove him to violence, according to law enforcement. Some students Tuesday wore T-shirts related to Spider-Man and Spider-Man's creator Stan Lee, in support of Cleveland, who reportedly is a big fan of the comics. Cleveland is recovering from the shotgun blast at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield.
