Man stabbed in central Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man has been hospitalized after being stabbed at a home in central Bakersfield.

Police were called to a house on K Street near Chester just after midnight Sunday.

They found a 39-year-old victim bleeding from multiple stab wounds.

Police arrested 41-year-old Barney Simons on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and willful infliction of corporal injury.
