$140K in cash seized during narcotics investigation

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A search warrant served Wednesday at a home in the 8300 block of Pioneer Drive resulted in four people being arrested and more than $140,000 in cash being seized.
The Kern County Sheriff's Office, along with a special enforcement team, served the warrant as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The cash was found in a plastic shopping bag inside a closet and in a shoe lying on top of a bed.
A small amount of suspected cocaine was found on one of the suspects.
Two Bakersfield men – 24-year-old Juan Torres and 32-year-old Efrain Martinez – and two men from Federal Way, Wash. – 27-year-old Miguel Orquiz and 29-year-old Abel Orquiz – were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and drug sales.
