Kern County Sheriff's Office: Man missing since Monday
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - The Kern County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing man.

Timothy Edwards, 47, hasn't been seen since midday Monday. He was helping to rebuild fencing near the Boy Scout Camp near Highway 155 and Rancheria Road. He became ill, and co-workers suggested he head back to the camp and rest.

When co-workers returned to the camp Monday evening, Edwards was gone. Also missing was a camouflage Polaris quad. The sheriff's office said it doesn't appear Edwards took food or water with him.

Officials have searched the area with no luck. Anyone who sees Edwards is asked to call the sheriff's office at (661) 861-3110.
