BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Dr. Jane Goodall will visit Bakersfield College as part of its centennial celebration.

The world-renowned primatologist and conservationist will give a presentation April 1 at the Bakersfield College Gil Bishop Sports Center. Tickets on sale for $15 at the school's ticket office.

Goodall, most famous for her pioneering research on chimpanzee behavior, will host a question-and-answer session and book signing. She'll also discuss her latest work, "Sowing the Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder from the World of Plants."

The evening's events are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
