Funeral held for two toddlers killed in fire
Two toddlers who were killed Memorial Day weekend were laid to rest on Friday. The girls were cousins who were apparently playing with other cousins inside a vacant trailer when the fire broke out.

Dozens of mourners filled Saint Francis Church in Downtown Bakersfield, as 3 year old Yanira Camacho and 2 year old America Tejada were laid to rest Friday morning. Friends and family wore t-shirts bearing a picture of the girls hugging each other. Their family says America and Yanira were always playing together. After the funeral, the girl's mothers were too distraught to speak so a family representative stepped in to express their feelings of gratitude for the communities support.

Camacho and Tejada were killed May 25Th, in a fire believed to have been sparked by one of their older cousins who had been playing with matches in an abandoned trailer. The coroner's office has ruled their deaths accidental. Sheriff's officials tell Eyewitness News that detectives found no evidence of neglect or child endangerment related to the deaths.
