Lost senior found in Southern California

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — For the second time this week, a Kern County family is stepping forward asking for help finding their lost relative.

Eyewitness News spoke with the family about why they are so concerned.

A loving sister describes the moment she knew something was wrong. Her brother, now missing, hadn't been seen since Sunday.

William Casteen, 59, was last seen Sunday in the 3800 block of Auburn.

She believes he was driving a older model tan four-door Mercedes. Carole describes him as polite and quite.

She says William does suffers from several mental conditions. She believes a recent loss of his dog could have triggered this episode.

Late Wednesday afternoon, Casteen's sister confirmed that he was found by a Southern California firefighter. He was transported to Harbor UCLA hospital, where he was being treated in the emergency room.
