Update: Kelly Markham, a public information officer with the California Department of Transportation, told Eyewitness News on Thursday that Caltrans District 7, which covers Los Angeles and Ventura counties, has $100.1 million allocated to fix pavement on both directions of Interstate 5 between Vista Del Lago Road and the Kern County line.

She said the work should fix all potholes along that stretch of interstate.

District 6, which covers Kern County, is also doing significant work on I-5, Markham said.

Video for the original story, which aired Monday night, is attached.
