BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A small bus carrying disabled students was rear-ended Monday afternoon by a big rig on southbound Highway 99 at the California Avenue exit.
Ambulances transported everyone on the bus - six students and the driver - to local hospitals as a precaution at the driver's request. The most serious injury, according to the California Highway Patrol, was a cut to the head.
The bus is operated by NAPD, New Advances for People with Disabilities.
The accident is being investigated by the CHP.
