Boyfriend arrested for alleged kidnapping

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Authorities arrested a man Sunday for allegedly kidnapping his girlfriend and their three children.

Jesus Lopez Aguirre, 29, was tracked to a home in Bakersfield, the Kern County Sheriff's Office said Monday. Deputies saw Aguirre and his girlfriend walking towards his vehicle, which was parked in an alley. Deputies confronted Aguirre, who ran off and hid in a bathroom.

Aguirre was booked into county jail on suspicion of kidnapping and false imprisonment.
