BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Police believed they've found the body of a murdered woman.

Andrea Ladonne Russell, 34, disappeared under "suspicious circumstances," police said late last week. She was last seen May 7 at the Super 8 motel at 3620 Wible Road in Bakersfield.

Police said earlier this week that two men were arrested, but they hadn't yet located Russell's body.

Friday morning, police said a body found Thursday night in the area of South Union Avenue and Highway 99 is likely that of Russell, though the coroner's office will need to confirm the identity.

Surveillance video at the motel where Russell was last seen shows two men carrying an unspecified heavy object from a room. Two suspect vehicles were also seen on surveillance video.

Based on the video and other evidence, police arrested 33-year-old Ruben Castro, of Bakersfield, on suspicion of murder and conspiracy. Daniel Norzagaray, 22, of Lamont, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory and conspiracy.
