Masked gunman robs bank

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - Bakersfield police are investigating a holdup at the California Avenue branch of Chase bank.

Police said a man wearing a dark mask came into the bank around 1 p.m. Saturday and used a gun to demand money from a teller. He then left the bank.

Investigators declined to comment on how much money was taken. 

No injuries were reported.

Police later released surveillance photos of the robber. He's described as being about 6-feet 2-inches tall and in his 30s.
