BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Housing and Opportunity Foundation of Kern received more than 20 donated computers Thursday from Rabobank.

The banking company also announced a $50,000 grant for the nonprofit organization, which aims to help residents of the Housing Authority of Kern County, as well as other low-income residents in the county.

A foundation official said adults can use the donated computers for job searches, and children can use them to compete school assignments.
