Bakersfield police seek sex offender

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - Police say they are looking for a "high-risk" sex offender who removed his ankle monitor.

Isaac Mathew Ortiz, 26, is wanted for parole violation.

Ortiz was convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age, according to the Megan's Law sex offender registry website.

Anyone who sees Ortiz is asked to call police at (661) 327-7111.
