Bakersfield police: Felon busted with 59 guns

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A convicted criminal was arrested Thursday for possessing 59 guns and live ammunition.
Police detectives assigned to the Financial Crimes Unit went to a home on the 2300 block of Gage Street to follow up on a check forgery case. There, detectives found 54-year-old Andrew Manuel Garcia and obtained permission to search the house.
Three of the firearms were assault weapons, police said.
Garcia was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of firearms, possession of assault weapons and felon in possession
of ammunition.

It was reported today (4 days after I told you) that Andrew Manual Garcia was Fran Florez brother and Dean Florez uncle. Gaspar refused to report that until I forced him and channel 29 to do so. Yet they tried to involve Bear Mt. Sports by showing a bumper sticker/logo not only once but twice in this biased report from Jose Gaspar. I am proud that I was able to clear my friend Gene Thome from these accusations from Gaspar and set the record straight on the Florez connection.
Wonder how many of those weapons were stolen..since a convicted felon can't legally purchase them. Hummm? When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
This is Fran Florezs brother?? Wow. Wonder if she has any involvement? Â Better get Gaspar on it.
i also count 59 tools for hunting, 59 collectors items, 59 rather large paper weights, based on the neighborhood i would say 59 reasons for the gangs in the area to avoid that house.Â
I count 59 "assault weapons" based on the sole fact that ALL WEAPONS ARE ASSAULT WEAPONS. counting those chairs, i see 62 assault weapons.Â
