Apple Store opening Friday in Valley Plaza Mall

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — An Apple Store is opening Friday at Valley Plaza Mall.
The store's opening coincides with the launch of the iPhone 5. People who have a two-year service agreement with AT&T, Sprint or Verizon Wireless are able to buy the phone for $199 (16 gigabyte model), $299 (32 GB) or $399 (64 GB).
This marks the tech giant's 250th U.S. store and first in Bakersfield.
The Valley Plaza Mall location will open at 8 a.m. Friday, and the first 1,000 customers in line will receive a free T-shirt, according to Apple spokeswoman Ashley O'Brien.
Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
