BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Police are looking for an additional suspect in a Feb. 16 murder in northeast Bakersfield.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 18-year-old Pedro Carrillo, charging him with murder, accessory and participation in a criminal street gang.

Edward Lee Daniel Moreno, 24, was found shot around 2:40 a.m. that day on the 900 block of Kentucky Street. He later died of his wounds at Kern Medical Center.

Andrew Segoviano, 17, was previously named a suspect and turned himself in last week at police headquarters.

Court records list a third person, Angel Sandez, associated with the case. A police spokeswoman on Monday confirmed a third arrest but declined to release the person's name, calling him a protected juvenile who doesn't represent a threat to society because he's already behind bars.

Anyone who knows Carrillo's location should call 911 or Detective Sean Morphis at (661) 326-3871.
