Amber Alert sounded for LA siblings

LOS ANGELES (KBAK/KBFX) - An Amber Alert has been sounded for two Los Angeles children.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children says the Amber Alert covers the counties of Los Angeles, San Diego, Imperial, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange.

Police say 9-year old Adoniah Freeman and her 8-year old brother Emanuel were reported missing Tuesday by their grandmother, who's their legal caregiver. Police say their mother, who is reportedly mentally ill, may have taken them.

The mother might be driving a 2011 Ford Edge with paper plates that read "Airport Marina."
