"Teensurance" to help parents monitor the way teens drive
Parents will have a new way to keep track of their teens.

A Washington company has released a device called Teensurance to help parents monitor their teenage drivers. It's a GPS device installed under the dashboard of a teen's car.

If the driver speeds or breaks curfew, a phone call is sent to the parents. Teensurance also allows parents to use their cell phones to unlock the car doors.

The company says the device will cost around $15 dollars a month. Safeco Insurance Company is rolling out the technology at the end of June.
